As if it wasn't obvious enough to everyone that I was a mother (driving a station wagon, carrying the huge 'mommy' purse, ever present baby food/hand prints on my clothes, and knowing where to find the cheapest milk and diapers in town) I've taken it up a notch. During recent trips to the pool this summer I was disappointed in how my pre-baby swimsuit looked on my post-baby body. I weigh less than I did when before Audrey, but my body just isn't he same. So, I decided to finally redeem some Belks gift cards and go swimsuit shopping. I left the store with an official 'mommy' swimsuit, complete with the 'I'm a mom' skirt. It was cuter than all the others and I'm sure I'll feel very comfortable in the baby pool with all the other moms in their skirted mom swimsuits. Just someone please shoot me if I start wearing jumpers.
On an Audrey note, she's off the bottle. I don't think she's had one in three days or perhaps four. Went right on to sippie cups without a complaint. I'm packing up the bottles for the attic this weekend.
