At our doctor's appointment last Friday the doctor did a test for anemia. He said they usually do it every year or so. Apparently they do a CBC or something (I know I was told, but you have a tendency to miss things when you're wrangling a 12 month old) and some blood cell thing was up. She wasn't anemic but she was fighting off a bug of some sort. The doctor said since she hadn't been sick recently she would probably get sick "by Sunday afternoon" and it was a virus and not to worry. Sunday came and went and I thought 'that virus wasn't so bad... no worse than teething really'. I spoke too soon. Last night we got very little sleep and today we have fever/congestion baby. I see some sleepless nights in my future.
